Research Interests

Our lab's research focuses on developing and applying advanced machine learning and deep learning methods to address critical challenges in drug discovery and bioinformatics.

Our lab is specializes in AI-driven approaches for designing novel therapeutic molecules, including antimicrobial peptides and anti-cancer compounds, as well as predicting drug properties such as toxicity, and drug-target interactions. Recent work has pioneered the use of reinforcement learning, diffusion models, and graph neural networks for targeted molecular design.

We are particularly interested in interpretable AI models that can provide mechanistic insights into biological systems, enabling rational drug design and biomarker discovery. Our research bridges computational biology, cheminformatics, and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of safer and more effective therapeutics.
